KEY Environmental Inc., is an established and innovative environmental consulting firm specializing in the investigation, remediation, and redevelopment of environmentally-challenged properties across the U.S. We have an immediate opportunity for a hybrid. full-time, ambitious, senior Process Engineer/Project Manager in our Pittsburgh, PA office. Candidates must have a B.S. in engineering and at least 6 years of work experience in the civil, environmental, chemical, and/or related engineering fields, with a focus on wastewater / water process engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Managing design projects involving treatment process, piping and instrumentation diagram, hydraulic analysis, and detailed design for industrial wastewater treatment facilities, including equipment selection and layout;

• Coordinating with State and Federal agencies, and the preparation of permit applications;

• Provide technical assistance for the operations, optimization and troubleshooting of existing wastewater treatment facilities;

• Project/Task Management of design projects involving hydraulic analysis for the oil and gas industry, sanitary sewer, storm water and potable water systems;

• Provide technical oversight, reporting, and occasional management of contractors for quality assurance;

• Perform data management and analysis, and prepare technical reports that summarize data in a technically sound, clear, and concise manner;

• Project planning, and reporting activities; and,

• Take an active role in business development activities.
