Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

Candidates must have a B.S. in engineering and at least 6 years of work experience in the civil, environmental, chemical, and/or related engineering fields, with a focus on wastewater / water process engineering.
Managing design projects involving treatment process, piping and instrumentation diagram, hydraulic analysis, and detailed design for industrial wastewater treatment facilities, including equipment selection and layout;
Coordinating with State and Federal agencies, and the preparation of permit applications;
Provide technical assistance for the operations, optimization and troubleshooting of existing wastewater treatment facilities;
Project/Task Management of design projects involving hydraulic analysis for the oil and gas industry, sanitary sewer, storm water and potable water systems;
Provide technical oversight, reporting, and occasional management of contractors for quality assurance;
Perform data management and analysis, and prepare technical reports that summarize data in a technically sound, clear, and concise manner;
Project planning, and reporting activities; and,
Take an active role in business development activities.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience as process engineer, and a team manager and will have the following qualifications:
Minimum B.S. degree in engineering (civil, environmental, chemical or related field) with 6+ years of professional experience related to wastewater treatment and water process engineering;
Professional Engineer licensure;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and teamwork spirit;
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
Experience conducting work under CERCLA, RCRA, and state regulatory programs;
Experience with PFAS remediation technologies and regulations;
Knowledge of AutoCAD/HydroCAD/KYPipe applications a plus;
OSHA 40-hour training preferred, and;
Valid driver’s license.
