Representative Projects:
Non-Conventional Well Pads
Civil engineering design for multiple well pads and access roads in Colorado and Wyoming for an exploration and production company headquartered in Denver, CO.
The well pads were designed for multiple non-conventional wells and to accommodate drilling, completions, and production equipment.
Oil and Gas Treated Produced Water Storage and Recycling Facility
Design of a treated-produced water storage facility in the DJ Basin of Colorado for a 40,000 barrel storage tank in a lined earthen berm secondary containment.
The facility included a 100-foot square pumping and mobile treatment pad, access roads, and piping design.
Oil and Gas Waterline Hydraulics
Provided hydraulic modeling for temporary and permanent water infrastructure in support of non-conventional gas well completions and ongoing water recycling.
Designed waterlines and pumps to deliver high flow rates (up to 120 bblpm) to well sites for completion operations.
Designs included Layflat, HDPE, steel, and FlexSteel piping for water transfer.
Landfill Borrow Area NPDES Permitting
Prepared Notice of Intent for coverage under the PAG-02 General Permit for stormwater discharges associated with construction activities for a new borrow area to support an existing landfill.
The new borrow area was approximately 23 acres in total to be developed in multiple stages in order to limit disturbed area.
Oil and Gas SPCC Plans
Manage County SPCC plans for a major natural gas producer in the multiple basins.
Over a dozen county SPCC plans in Colorado, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia containing over 200 individual sites.
Tracked five-year compliance and production updates with the producer compliance staff to maintain up-to-date plans.
