Dr. Consolazio has experience investigating the fate and transport of chemical contaminants, assessing treatment technologies, and evaluating the impact of "contaminants of emerging concern". Dr. Consolazio has performed human health and ecological risk assessments (under federal and state guidance), and provides engineering insight for the development of sampling and analysis plans and remedial action work plans. She conducted a bench-scale microcosm test to assess a novel biogeochemical approach for removing over 90% of sulfate in plumes. She designed the model laboratory data package for a novel analytical method (Carbon Specific Isotope Analysis - CSIA) to demonstrate that reporting procedures and data quality review will meet NJDEP standards.
