Senior Groundwater Treatment Design Engineer

Candidates must have a B.S. in engineering, chemistry, or other related field and at least 6 years of work experience, with a focus on groundwater treatment, process engineering, and site remediation.
Responsibilities:
Managing design projects involving groundwater treatment process, piping and instrumentation diagram, hydraulic analysis, and detailed design for treatment facilities, including equipment selection and layout;
Provide technical assistance for the operations, optimization, and troubleshooting of existing groundwater treatment facilities;
Coordination of PFAS investigation and treatment, and be familiar with PFAS regulations;
Coordinating with State and Federal agencies, and the preparation of permit applications;
Project/Task Management of design projects involving hydraulic analysis for the oil and gas industry, sanitary sewer, stormwater, and potable water systems;
Provide technical oversight, reporting, and occasional management of contractors for quality assurance;
Project planning, and reporting activities; and,
Take an active role in business development activities.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience as a process engineer, and a team manager and will have the following qualifications:
Minimum B.S. degree (chemical engineering, civil, environmental, or related field) with 6+ years of professional experience related to groundwater remediation and treatment, and process engineering;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and teamwork spirit;
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
Experience conducting work under CERCLA, RCRA, and state regulatory programs;
Experience with PFAS remediation technologies and regulations;
OSHA 40-hour training preferred, and;
Valid driver’s license.
