Key Environmental, Inc. (KEY) is an environmental engineering consulting firm with offices in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Corporate Headquarters), Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, and Portland, Maine. KEY assists clients nationwide maintaining or attaining compliance with complex, evolving federal and state requirements governing hazardous and solid waste. KEY has extensive experience in management and implementation of projects from investigation through remediation under CERCLA, RCRA and similar state-lead programs, including state "voluntary initiative" programs on Brownfield sites where future site use determines applicable remedial measures. |

Mission |

Regulatory knowledge, technical experience, and liability awareness enable KEY staff to develop realistic solutions for environmental management issues facing the regulated community. |
Staff |
| KEY personnel deal on a one-to one basis with clients, providing the best solution to each problem. The multi-disciplined technical staff is comprised of engineers and scientists, a number of whom are nationally recognized for expertise in the investigation and remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon, chlorinated solvent, and coal tar contaminated sites. The staff maintains up-to-date knowledge of remedial technologies, actively pursuing the development of new techniques for remediating difficult environmental problems in a cost-effective manner. Staff experience includes a variety of active, passive, and in situ treatment technologies, such as natural attenuation, in situ biological treatment, nonaqueous-phase liquid (NAPL)/groundwater extraction and treatment, on-site containment, and in-place stabilization. |
